What are your shipping fees?

We offer free shipping on orders over $59. Offer is valid on orders shipped in the continental United States via ground shipping. If you choose 2-Day or Overnight Shipping, regular charges will apply. Orders below the $59 threshold will command standard shipping rates. Please click here to read our shipping policy.

When will my order be shipped? When will it arrive?

If your order was placed Monday through Thursday it will be shipped the same day or the day after. If your order was placed on Friday prior to 3:00pm PST, the order may be shipped the same day, if not it will be shipped on Monday. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped. Prior to checking out, you will see several estimated arrival dates, depending on the type of shipping you select.

What's the status of my order? How do I track my order?

Once you have placed an order, you can check on its status at any time. To track your order from this page, go here. Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information.

Do you offer Gift Certificates?

Yes, we do! Gift Certificates can be ordered in any amount. They are sent via e-mail to any individual with a valid e-mail address. The recipient of a Gift Certificate will receive an e-mail with a Gift Certificate code redeemable only on our website.

Will my credit card be charged immediately?

No. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped. When you enter your credit card information on the final review page, we’ll give you an order confirmation number. You will also immediately receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received. We will send you another e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped and we’ve charged your credit card.

How do I change or cancel an order?

If for any reason you would like to change your order, please contact customer service as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, please keep in mind our system is designed to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has entered the shipping process.

What are my payment options?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal and our online Gift Certificates.

Are Purchases on this Website Really Tax Free?

We collect sales tax only in states where we have a physical presence. Currently, sales tax only applies to the state of Arkansas.

Is ordering over the internet secure?

Yes. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption is used for every transaction in order to ensure that your order is secure. SSL encrypts the transmissions from our ecommerce servers as well as your computer. SSL encryption works by forming a matched pair with the transmission from your computer and our server, so that only data to and from these sources can be valid.

What's the difference between "Order Date" and "Ship Date"?

On most websites, “Order Date” and “Ship Date” are not the same. For example, if you place an order on Friday at 11:00pm PST, your package will not ship until after the weekend. Although most orders are shipped the same or next day, please take weekends and holidays into account when considering the shipping date.

Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

For security reasons, we do not currently ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

If I send my package as a gift, will the recipient receive the invoice?

Yes. If you would like us to remove the invoice from the package, please send us an e-mail immediately after your order is placed by using this form.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and will accept any defective item for refund or exchange. Unwashed, unworn, unused or defective merchandise may be returned within 21 days after purchase for an exchange or refund. Merchandise received after 21 days will only be accepted at our discretion for an online store credit.

We will only refund shipping charges if we sent the wrong item or the item sent was defective. If you are making an exchange because you would like a different size, style or color, you will be charged for shipping on your exchange. The return/exchange value is determined by the last retail price of the item.

Please note merchandise purchased from an alternate authorized Fricaine retailer, including department stores or specialty stores must be returned to the store from which it was originally purchased, and is subject to the return policy of the originating retailer. For damaged/defective items not purchased online, please check the retailer’s return policy. Every retailer has a different policy, but we work very closely with our retailers to ensure that everything goes smoothly and that you are satisfied with your purchase. Our usual repair time is six to eight weeks. Please use the most economical shipping method for your return. Due to security constraints, we cannot reimburse you for an amount greater than your purchase amount.

Holiday Return/Exchange Policy

Returns/exchanges accepted for purchases (except Sale styles) made between 11/26/14 – 12/31/14 can be returned up to 1/21/15 (21 days of Holiday Return Period). Outside of this time frame all normal return policy parameters resume. Sale merchandise is to maintain normal 14 day return period.

How should I ship my return or exchange?

Pack and seal your box securely, in the original package if possible.

You should ship your return/exchange with a carrier who will provide your package with a tracking number to ensure that your package does not get lost. Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not accept COD.

When will my credit card be refunded?

Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment.

The credit may not show up until your credit card’s next monthly billing cycle. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your order when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.

Do you make price adjustments?

Unless otherwise specified, if you purchase an item directly from Fricaine Online and the item goes on sale within 7 days of purchase (order date) we would be happy to adjust your price to the new sale price. After that date we are unable to make any adjustments.

How do I care for my products?

At Fricaine, quality is our signature. Our handbags and fashion products are hand crafted from the highest quality materials. Products are made of top faux and micro fiber leather which is dyed to achieve deep, rich hues that become even more beautiful with age. They have been tested to endure heavy, everyday use. Our hardware is always made from durable materials like nickel or brass to ensure that it won’t chip or peel–ever. They will never corrode.

Quality leather resists tears, punctures, heat and cold. Leather stretches with use, yet retains sufficient shape to provide support. Leather is breathable and can actually wick away moisture. Leather as a raw material is a by-product of farming and food production. The skins in leather garments and handbags bought in the U.S. do not come from animals killed just for their hides. No endangered species are ever used. The typical hide weight of our leathers is 2 to 3 ounces – a perfect bag weight to minimize heaviness while ensuring extreme durability.

Quality cream applications and occasional polishing will keep the leather on these handbags looking great for years. Lotions and cleaners are not recommended. Leather is very easy to care for, and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and then buffed to restore the shine. Fricaine never recommends conditioners as its application may diminish the shine of luster of the finish.

What is your product guarantee?

At Fricaine, quality is the hallmark of our business. We are recognized for offering merchandise that has been carefully designed and produced to meet our high standards. It is our intention that our guarantee be as highly regarded as our products.

Guarantee: We are a concerned manufacturer who stands behind its products. We will repair, at our cost, any manufacturing defect within 1 year of purchase. Examples of qualified manufacturing defects include problems with zipper construction, loose stitching, hardware or lining. These claims should be directed to an authorized Fricaine dealer or a Fricaine customer service representative. Fricaine will promptly repair the item. If repair is not possible, a replacement of equal value will be provided.

Proper care of your Fricaine piece will ensure lasting beauty, even after years of wear. Please be thoughtful with light colored clothing and upholstery to avoid color transfer. Should your bag become wet, wipe it with a clean cotton cloth and allow it to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. As with any leather accessory, wear and tear will occur with normal use. It should be expected that over time leather may fade or spot and that edges and corners may show signs of wear. This is a natural and normal process and is not covered by the Fricaine guarantee. Regrettably, we also cannot guarantee or replace products damaged by abuse or mishandling; including exposure to moisture, severe tears in leather or lining and ink marks or stains. We are happy to recommend solutions for improving your bag’s appearance should natural wear and tear diminish its condition. We also offer replacement straps for styles that are equipped with detachable straps.

Where can I find a store near me that carries your products?

At the moment, Fricaine products are primarily sold via our website. We’re working to get these products into stores near you. Our website will be updated with this information as soon as possible.

Can you tell me when new products or special promotions are announced?

Yes. You can use the subscription form in the footer of this site to subscribe and get updates emailed to you.

Are the products on the website the same as in the stores?

Yes. Although our website may have a different assortment than a store in your area, the products are the same.

I bought your product on eBay, is it authentic?

We have been getting complaints from customers who have purchased on eBay (or other auction/web sites) in regards to counterfeit products. To ensure you’re not buying a counterfeit product, we suggest you shop on our website or from one of our authorized retailers.

Is my personal and credit card information safe on your website?

Yes. We’ve taken several steps to ensure all information received from our online visitors is secure from unauthorized access and use. All transactions are completed on a secure server. In secure mode, your computer and our server send data back and forth in an encrypted format.
